MEET THE ARTIST
Alessia Antonietta Queen is the creative mind behind Royal Stationery & Design. Her work is driven by a lifelong love for art, history, and meaningful connection. With a background in events, the fine arts and graphic design, Alessia brings an editorial eye to every detail, blending old world romance with modern refinement.
Her inspiration comes from places rich in character and time — weathered stone cathedrals, intricate European architecture, soft palettes, and the quiet beauty of handcrafted techniques. Alessia believes that paper holds emotion, and that a single piece, thoughtfully composed, can carry a memory long after the moment has passed.
Her journey into the world of stationery began while planning her own wedding and was creating her own wedding invitations. The moment she watched an antique letterpress in motion, she was captivated. The slow rhythm of the press, the impression of ink settling into handmade paper, and the sheer care that went into each piece revealed a new world to her. It was in that moment; witnessing craftsmanship unfold, that stationery became more than just paper. It became art, an heirloom in the making.
Today, Alessia collaborates with couples across Canada and internationally, creating bespoke invitation suites and wedding paper goods that reflect their story. Her work has been featured in BRIDES, Elegant Wedding Magazine, WedLuxe, and other leading wedding publications.
Whether sketching custom artwork or tying the final ribbon, Alessia approaches every project with intention, curiosity, and heart. Her greatest joy is creating pieces that will be held, cherished, and remembered — heirlooms of a day that means everything.
