Once you have selected a semi-custom collection that you love you can submit a semi-custom invitation inquiry form. After your quote request is received, we will connect with you to schedule a 45 minute virtual or in-person consultation. During this meeting we shall discuss in more detail colours, themes, etc. you are planning for your big day and how we can incorporate that into your wedding stationery. By the end of this meeting, we will have all the information required to put together your preliminary quotes. You will receive an email shortly after where you can review your quote details.

For a semi-custom design, the average RSD couple invests around $2,000 - $4,000 CAD.

Every proposal is custom created for each couple. Once your proposal is ready to review, you will receive a link to your online proposal via email. Your proposal features your mood board based off of your individual wedding aesthetic, and a breakdown of all costs, including a non-refundable $500 graphic design fee. This fee covers all of the graphic design time needed to make your dream invitations come to life! 

Once everything looks good to go on your proposal, you can sign the client agreement form and submit your deposit. Then the fun begins!

At this point, once we have all of the info and details for your wedding we begin designing. Within 10 business days of your order being placed you will receive your first round of design proofs; your order includes 2 rounds of revisions.

All proofs for your suite will be available to review via email.

During this time we will also proofread your suite, confirm colour selections, and final details. Please allow 6-8 weeks for the entire semi-custom designs/production process.

Design & Refine

After you've given your final signature of approval, your invitation suite is sent off to print! We are proud to work with extremely detail oriented printers local within the GTA. They take the utmost care of each suite to ensure quality and consistency.

Please note that expected delivery dates are subject to how quickly we move through the design process. Regardless of the design and printing method selected, it takes a minimum of two weeks to print and produce an invitation suite.

Final Approval

Time to raise a glass and cheers to delivery day! Here at Royal Stationery Design we offer full assembly and mailing services for all couples. If you choose to add this in, we will assemble, stuff, and seal all invitation suites for you.

If you would like to assemble yourself, we will send all items needed to assemble your invitation suite in one big box. Please note industry standard is to mail an invitation suite out 8 - 10 weeks before the wedding day and 10 - 12 weeks for destination weddings.

After our meeting, I’ll create a tailored proposal including mood boards and initial design concepts. Once the proposal is finalized and a contract is signed, we move into the design phase, where you will receive digital proofs and revisions. Once approved, I handle all aspects of printing and production to ensure the highest quality, before delivering your stunning, one-of-a-kind stationery.

I work with a range of premium printing techniques to bring your vision to life. This includes classic letterpress, luxurious foil stamping, elegant embossing / debossing, and modern digital printing. I also specialize in specialty papers, such as handmade cotton or deckled edge paper, to add texture and depth to your stationery. During our consultation, we’ll discuss which options best suit your style and budget.
